... just miraculous blogroll of Gratitude will end this post, yet that would be not the end but the beginning - the joy to welcome your site to the community I am proud of knocking on now. This vision urged me to hurry and thus I again jumped over the time into the wonderland of what was high above my potency to put in human words. So let me return back for making everything plain.

As I turned on my computer today, Are you grateful? What are you grateful for? What does "Gratitude" mean to you? looked at me from a screen. WOW! came out of itself. These were not the questions for musing, but the keys to the dreamland. The keys that were lost by me while I was trying to report what and why was not done by me till now. The keys that were retrieved as I shifted from self to what I was grateful for - to you. The thoughts about the current hardships were immediately replaced with the hot Thank you! There are so many things to be grateful for; it's a great thing to write about because we can loose perspective sometimes with the mountains of responsibilities and concerns we face everyday. I'm grateful to be 'above ground' with good health and a family to nurture and take care of. I feel grateful because I have a long weekend break. Today is the National Day of Malaysia. So, tomorrow is declared as public holiday as well. One of my friends asked me how I am going to celebrate National Day this year. The answer is “eat, play, sleep, eat…” And why not? This is the long break I am anticipating for!

Every time I visit Are you Grateful? and 365 Days of Gratitude I am torn. Although I'm always inspired by the abundance mindset I find there, I know I should be reserving some time here for gratefulness as well. And now ... that time has come!

My statement of gratitude (what I am thankful for today):

Good news from the doctor. After I gained an unprecedented 15 pounds in two weeks, friends insisted I visit my physician. Luckily I passed the physical (after all, no studying was required)! A subsequent x-ray proved that for some reason my only problem is that I am -- quite literally -- full of it! With some medication this, too, shall pass, so today I am relieved ... well, I soon will be!
A husband who thinks my situation is hysterically funny! Actually, I'm not really thankful for Frank at the moment ... but I am working on it. My gratitude toward my spouse is a very fickle thing which has a lot to do with how many hours he spends sleeping in front of the TV and how often he laughs at my jokes. My jokes ... not my predicament! Still, he has a heart of gold and the very best intentions. And for that I am forever grateful.
My outdoor world. Even though it's August, the last several days have brought comfortable temperatures to central Iowa where I live -- perfect weather for enjoying the sights and the songs of a variety of bird life. No flooding or wildfires threaten my home ... and for this I am incredible thankful!
A new contract. In my work as a consultant, I had just ended one project early due to a client's budgetary woes and was scrambling to get more work lined up. I was beside myself with worry ... well, I was worried anyway. But today I got the phone call I needed and will begin my new job next week. Somebody's looking out for me and for that I give thanks!
Blogging. Why is it that every time I question the value of maintaining a blog, something happens to refocus me? Someone's comments or online friendship. An exciting new find in the blogosphere. Or, as has recently happened, the receipt of an award. I'll have more on that tomorrow ... but for now let me just say "Thank you" to all you bloggers who inspire me, challenge me and those who remind me to count my blessings!

The gorgeous Arizona sunrise I am watching right now.
My sister, Susan. She is an amazing intuitive and makes me laugh til I almost pee my pants.
My daughters - it is remarkable how they can warm my heart and make me want to wring their necks all at the same time!
coffee - the aroma of a fresh brewed pot - mmmmm...
The iphone - it is a miracle how well it helps me run my life. I didn't know you could fall in love with a piece of technology before.

This is my kind of tag as “think positive thoughts” is my mantra. All I have to do is list down 10 things that made me happy or am grateful for recently. Here it goes:

1. Being able to talk to my Mom and loved ones in the Philippines and seeing them everyday, thanks to YM!

2. “Milk & Honey” from my SPs are starting to come in. Woohoo!

3. The belated Mother’s Day present from Hubby and Abby, the Wii Fit, which has become my favorite new toy.

4. Receiving Mr. Snail as well as some surprise goodies from Odette.

5. Finding a friend in Tita Myra, who has offerred to become my Mom’s co-patient.

6. The wonderful time we had at my friend Bet’s house on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

7. The outpouring of love, support and prayers from relatives and friends when they found out about my Mom’s journey to wellness.

8. My personal blog’s, Munchkin Mommy, 3rd year anniversary.

9. I was able to exchange my miles for 2 roundtrip air fares for a July holiday.

10. I received a free book in the mail yesterday.

I hope I am making *someone* happy.

So here are my 10 happy/thankful thoughts in the recent weeks (tagged by the wonderful Munchkin Mommy):

1. M. I don’t often tell him that he makes me happy and I’m thankful I met him. Thanks to a friend who introduced us; probably one of the better things she has done.

2. Finishing the User’s Manual for teh 4-port Gigabit Ethernet module (say waht?) that I’ve been working on! Could’ve finished this sooner but was too lazy.

3. Getting a new project! It’s an expansion board for a system. I won’t talk about it because I will sound like a technoid if I do. I don’t know much about it yet because I haven’t read the specs. I doubt that I will talk about it. Don’t think any one can relate to what I’m going to say anyway, with the possible exception of Lou-lou.

4. Regularization! Yeah. VLs and SLs, baby.

5. Losing weight! Wooohhooo! I was with ME and her soon-to-be hubby and A, and A and I had our second fitting for our gowns. I can’t believe how much weight I’ve lost. The boob part of my gown seemed awfully loose, like my boobs had really shrunk. Yikes.

6. Liking Loving the fit of my bridesmaid gown for ME’s wedding.

7. My conversations with M. He’s wonderful: nerdy, geeky AND talkative—a very nice combination of all things heady.

8. Having *conversations* with R where I don’t feel pained. I miss him, though. But I’m glad we’re still friends.

9. Family and friends! My family gets on my nerves a whole lot (’cos I’m living with them again) but I love them, regardless of what I may say or how I might feel about them at any given point in time. My friends are the *bestest* in the whole world!

10. A very exciting adventure. The wait is killing and exciting me all at the same time.

Kujie, my guru, got it from Mel's blog: Attitude: The Ultimate Power. And since my guru took part, so, I decided I should too though I was not tagged by her.

Of late, I have learned a lot from life and what it has brought me. I'm grateful that I'm alive, I'm grateful that I'm healthy and I'm grateful that I'm happy.

So, first, I'm saying my thanks to GOD Al-Mighty for giving me another day everytime I open my eyes at dawn. For me, it doesn't only mean that I get to be alive for another 24 hours but I also get another opportunity to rectify what I have done wrong yesterday, yesterweeks and yesteryears, as well as grabbing new opportunities that will definitely cross my path.

When I look back, I realise that HE has given me everything that I have wished for but it was I, who never appreciated HIS generosity and it was I, who wasted the opportunity out of stupidity. Never again, I can promise HIM that, that I would behave the way I did a long time ago for HE has also granted me the wisdom that enable me to see what a fool I was, as well as a clear vision of what great things awaiting for me to grab them. I promise you GOD, from now onwards I will always ask for YOUR guidance everytime.

I'm also grateful that I have discovered my passion and have been given the courage to act on it. I'm grateful that the sun seems happy to shine on me all the way, although, there was one or two drizzles that hit my face. No matter. It was just a spit. A long time ago, I would cry like a baby and complain when an obstacle appear out of nowhere and make my life a living hell. But not anymore. Now, I am accepting the obstacles that have and might cross my path as a process that I have to go through in order to make me stronger and wiser. Thank you GOD. I'm so blessed.

I'm grateful for my husband, for his love and loyalty. He has been my backbone and will always be. He is there for me through good and bad. He showers me with love and generosity. He shields me from cruelty and he is also the one who 'discovers' me and tells me that I make a good writer one day. I guess, he's right!!! You are my rock, my love. I love you and I'm grateful to be your wife.

To Mom and Dad. Thank you for having me as your child and thank you for putting up with me all these years. I know what a devil I was. You are the best. To think what both of you have done for me and endure all these while... I can't be grateful enough. Thank you Mom and Dad, for loving me unconditionally. I'm really honoured and grateful to be your daughter. Mom and Dad... I love you till the day I die.

I'm grateful that I have such wonderful siblings whom I love and love me so much. We share almost everything, we laugh and cry together. We fought a lot when we were kids, didn't we? Though I live far away, you know you can always count on me and I'm always there for you everytime you need me.

I have long accepted the fact that my husband and I will not be blessed with our own kids but I thank GOD for giving me such a beautiful niece and four handsome nephews (more to come). I'm grateful for the joy they have brought into our lives. Their existence, their love and laughter, make my life a lot more meaningful. I love you all. I love you with all my heart.

I'm also grateful for my good friends, both offline and online. Thank you for having me in your lives and please do not doubt my love for all of you. To my best friends for more than 20 years, thank you and I love you. You are my rock and totally cool. To friends I met in the blogsphere, I have learned a lot from you and your life's experience through your blogs. Though we haven't met but I feel that we are best friends already. Hope our friendship remains and will never end.

I also would like to thank my publisher, UPND, in particular Puan Faridah for giving me a go and still believes in me despite my antics!!! I have great respect for you, madam, and I assure you I will do everything in my power to make sure I am worth your while.

I am grateful for family! I have an incredible support system of great family, between my parents, my husband's parents, brothers, and sister-in-laws on both sides, they are always there!

I know I have so much to be grateful for, although I don’t always remember every minute of everyday. What I am most grateful for are the people I have in my life that love and care for me, and who I love and care for in return.

I am thankful every day for my life and where I’ve ended up. Life has been good to me and I always count my blessings. I think that’s important for me to enjoy the simple things in my life.

I am grateful for my God whom I trust for giving me life, good health and guidance . I am grateful for the love of my husband because he says when we met he knew he wanted me for his own and has never made me feel that he changed his mind. A beautiful caring man who is giving me everything my heart has desired.

I have been grateful for my children because it is still amazing to hear "I love you mama" and I get to hear it regularly. I have been grateful for my parents and family for their love and thrust.

I have been grateful for my wonderful friends here who give me the strengh to live also when I'm down. A friends like you is almost too good to be true. The laughter, the tears we have been thought them over the years. The time, we have shared no one could compare. I have learned a lot from their thoughts and personal definition of Wisdom, and for that I am extremely grateful! I was not mistaken when I decided that your thoughts, my friends, were my favourite book: thank you!

I would also like to thank Fernando, from Arte Y Mundo, for having translated my article (to Spanish) and produced a rather intellectual critique.

Now I would like to pay homage to the following commentators; on the afore mentioned article (by order of appearance):

Zhu: my French friend living in Canada. A wonderful soul and an artist; whom I love interacting with. Her comments are also much appreciated and I adore how we respect each other so much.

Brenda (2): Brenda and I met through our mutual friend, Peter. Her comment on this article was her first in my blog (hopefully the first of many) and her thoughts caught my immediate attention, and I just felt like we had to interact more.

Liza (3): my adorable Philippine friend. Such a gentle soul, a great mom and an excellent person to turn to if you need any hair, skin (you name it) tips. She is a fan of my short stories.

Alexys: my wordsmith friend. Her intellectuality, spirituality, wisdom and humour surmount everything I thought I knew about it. Conversing with her is always a true pleasure and eye tearing (of so much laughter).

Fernando: he is from Buenos Aires and extremely intellectual. His translations, dissertations, and writings are simply awesome. I love conversing with him a lot.

Delirious: a great friend. I love reading her comments! I always learn new things from her. But I particularly like how she makes my friend, LS, go through a rough moment in their debates lol.

Mel (3): my delightful friend. Mel knows that I am a great fan of his and that I appreciate our friendship more than anything. He makes me laugh a lot and conversing with him is always a deep pleasure (I learn a lot from him).

Bob: such an incredible human being and a friend. Amazing sense of humour and depth, I like the way he sees the world. I always wait anxiously for his fantastic comments. Plus, he is my “co-player” in Surrender. His blog on astronomy is awesome: check it out!

Lynda (3): my artist friend. I love her photos and her artwork (check her blog out). Lynda’s thoughts are always deep and amazing; and I must say that whenever we converse I learn new and interesting things. Thanks, my friend!

Renny: my Norwegian friend. I came to discover that he is a gentle and extremely generous human being. His posts are always so interesting and full of history.

Peter: my Aussie friend. I don’t know if I have told him this or not, but I simply adore him and his dry humour (as he calls it). He is such a good soul, so generous, so kind, and in love with his family. Our conversations are simply amazing. His articles are precious!

Kalyan: my friend from India. He is so considered and gentle, amazing. I love taking a peek at his photos, absorbing all the colours and flavours in his articles. His comments are always much awaited, since his thoughts are so deep.

I would like to thank Edith for this tag. She passed this to me when I was having a hard time at work. Frankly speaking, during that time, I was feeling so negative that even chocolates tasted extremely bitter (erm.. 70% Cocoa content) and desserts tasted sour (what do you expect from Lemon Sorbet?). Let alone, give thanks. I might as well do the other link, "Complain Complain Complain". Okay, now that I looked back, I was able to joke about it. But seriously, I was really very down at that point of time. It was friends like her, popping by at the right time to remind me that things will take a better turn, that the phase, no matter how long it takes; will pass.

I am grateful for friends, both online and offline, who stood by me and tolerated my whinings and negativity. Keeping me sane.

I am grateful for my children, who bring me endless joy and the will to go on. Even though, that may mean I have to make sacrifices but I have no regrets if they were for them.

I am grateful that I have parents and sisters who are supportive all these years.

Although I always complained about my job, I am grateful that I still have one and is able to put food on the table.

Lastly, I am grateful that my family lives in a place where there is no natural disaster. Looking at those suffering over at Sichuan and Myanmar, mine's just a little sorrow compared to theirs.

As a young girl, I remember a very special moments with my arwah bapa…and i always asked him a question about what is the meaning of my name. The answer is simple…he just like that name… errrmmmm…ok

When i was studied at the U, i had an incident which is related with my name…in my second year of education…During the class of Tamadun Islam…(my first session with this not hot but handsome lecturer)…He was a new lecturer. At classroom, he was checking the student’s attendance by name. When he saw my name…and he tried to pronounced my name… i just knew it…he can’t pronounced my name…and the way he pronounced my name for me is very rude… Suddenly, he asked me this damn question in front of my friends and other students…”What is the meaning of your name in Islam ? I think there is no meaning for Angriani!.” I was shocked and dunno what to said…How dare he asked me a damn question and gave a comment about my name ?

But now, I feel grateful and proud with my name… ~ aNgRiAniWoRLd ~ BTW…i want to post this Gratitude meme…some sort like Big Bang Meme lorr…so its related with my lates entry, right?

Well, some says that blogging is the an art. Art of expressing your mind on what you feel to all the things that you see and feel. But some would also say that Blogging is their life as they obviously get a little penny on it by giving feedbacks to all the advertisers around the web. I guess, there are lots of things to consider on How to define what Blogging is? The most important thing is you enjoy what you do and you love what you share. Its the best spices in the blogging world.

Eventually, I myself is now totally addicted to blog nowadays, to the fact, that I wanted to share the thoughts of my mind, heart and soul. Aside from that fact, I absolutely accept that I'm also gaining a little revenue on my blogs. Well, I guess, its not new to anyone anymore since, almost all the bloggers around the web are monetizing their blogs even those personal blogs.

Furthermore, What's really good about Blogging? Is it for a long term goal or its just for a leisure time? In my own point of view, Blogging is a matter of choice. Whether it is for a long term nor short term goal the good about it is you love to share your life, thoughts and ideas to others. You want to influence them by your words of encouragement nor it may not really turns out that way but at least you've shared a little part of your life that would somehow help them realized the best things in life. Why don't you try to blog too? I guess, its the best exit you'll gonna have if you wanted to have a thoughtful life.

Its nice and honor to think that people is really aware that expressing their minds is the best way to improve their selves and make them stand on their own. But its so sad rather to think that their are still people out there who didn't have a courage to express what they feel towards a particular situation nor people who doesn't have a voice to fight what they believe is right. Too bad... But I guess, they might have their own reasons why they prefer to shut up rather than to voice out. They might protecting somebody nor anyone else just to save their lives. Whatever their reason is I just want to let them know that telling the truth and what's on your mind will definitely set you free even if the person is involve are those people who are near in your heart but could you dare to just shut up rather than voicing out that will save the lives of millions? Could you dare to put a tape on your mouth rather than telling the truth that will definitely change the future of those innocent young ones? Will you dare to block the freedom of your mind to speak the truth that will absolutely save you from danger? For some nor many of you will do it for the sake of your family nor for those people whom care. Or maybe some nor many of you will speak your mind for the sake everybody.

What I'm trying to emphasize it here is "LET YOUR MIND SPEAK "... Give the freedom of your mind to speak what he see is right and what he believe is for the better. Don't be afraid to speak your mind 'cause every opinion is welcome as long as you believe that its right. Fight for the better! Learn by example...

As I walk through life with all those barriers and struggles I have meet I never consider my self to stop walking. 'Cause I know life is isn't all about those things but life has something to offer more than what I have expected to come. I maybe too young to reflect about life in general including those sub-aspects on it but I guess, this is a free world and I do have a freedom to express my thoughts and heart desires.

On the other hand, LOVE is one of the common factor why people exist and experience to see the beauty of life! It is were the world begun! God created us through his image and likeness because HE love us. People created those non-living things because we LOVE to do it for the benefit of all. Specifically, Man continue to live with the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE bestowed by the opposite sex because God made it for us to live life happily. Its one great opportunity to know that we are part of all this things.

Nevertheless, "LIFE is simply all about LOVE while LOVE is simply all about LIFE". Be grateful to whatever blessing you've got whether its good nor bad praise HIM for that 'cause as you know there's no such perfect thing that exist in this mortal world.

Many of us are just neglecting the essence and usability of things around us to the fact that they are not living things and like us who can express our minds and feelings. But did you know that without those things we could not do our individuals task nor eventually survive? Did you know that without those things we are also useless? Did you know that without those things we are uncertain to fulfill our daily undertakings? Well, even I myself accept the truth that I even do it and came up to realization that why not try to give the real essence and usability of those things? I guess, it will definitely give us the real meaning of life. Life to the extend which has full of meanings. Meanings that simply lead us to the right path of success. Success that answers our every hardships and obstacles that we often encounter in our day to day ramblings.

You know what guys, remember that even if those material things that we often see and feel are just made up man still its God who create it for us to explore and beautify it. Its God who give us the opportunity to enjoy it but it seems that most of us are just neglecting it. Most of us are selfish and rude. Selfish to the extend that we are not considerate to those things we see. Rude to the sense that we are waisting the creation of God for us. We are all fool! We don’t have a heart! Pardon me to this people who care now! But I know before you arrive to that you also arrive to the point of waisting it. Guys, theres always a time and place for recovering it and renewing the image of brutality to an image of Wisdom. Its now time to change it and eventually renew yourself! Its us who disgust it! Its us who waist it!… So, its also us who will renew it to an image of goodness… Its not yet late people in fact we got a lot of time to renew and care for it. So, I therefore extending my usability as one of the person who care for the environment to please show your care for those things even if how it was! They still have a right to stay as we do!… Reflect on what I say guys!… Its time to change!… May all of you will have the grace of God to pursue your plans… Have a great day everyone!…c”,)

I don't know why some of these thoughts come into my head or even if they are worth putting into words. I have just noticed that it has been a year ago this week that I started blogging. All the memories of this past year are coming back. I sit here with tears streaking down my face. I am having a boo hoo moment?

So many thing have changed in the past year. I started blogging because my friend Mike moved away. I called him one day upset and he told me to go to blogger. He said to write about how I was feeling and it would make me feel better. He was so right! Blogging is the greatest gift that I have ever been given.

OK, I got to go blow my noise.

All the boogies are gone now and I am over my boo hoos.

I then started thinking.

#93 - Me and the washing machine

Few days ago, I was complaining to mybf when the washing machine decided not to work. "How?" "I totally have no idea. There was no humming sound." The only thing on my mind was, it's time to consider (the machine is not that old) buying a new one.

Without the functioning machine, washing clothes by hand was unavoidable and it could ~~turn out to be a nightmare~~ be a very tedious chore. Yes? Since I don't wash my clothes everyday, at the end of the week, not only clothes and lingerie but also towels, bedsheet, pillow cases,...all piled up in a laundry basket at the corner of the bathroom. I felt that sense of dread seeing the ~~mountain~~ pile before I started the "laundry sports"!

Then last Saturday, mybf decided to try and fix the washing machine. He grabbed a screwdriver, unscrewed, turned over, removed the cover, accessed to the underside of the machine...

Finally, the machine worked!

I got very excited and I couldn't wait to turn on the washing machine again.

Ogie, here's the thing, I actually type out a long complain about stuff earlier but decided to do it differently this time.

I'm one of those ppl who ~~loves~~ complains a lot (well I can't really say I love doing it, but it's kinda a natural thing for me). All I do is whine. I think some of the ppl I know might be tired of me doing it. Trying to control and live without thinking is a bit hard.

Anyways, today, I decided to be grateful instead and try not to complain for a day @_@ (I doubt that's gonna happen). But yeah, I'm grateful for being alive and to have wonderful people around me. Thank god.

This tag from Rainbows is past overdue! My apologies but glad that I can do this today! I guess people generally fall into these two categories and i.e. "Grateful Type" or "Complaining Type". Read a book sometime back called the "Power of Gratitude" and Wow! really eye-opening! Personally I was not the grateful type but through the years and thank God, He slowly changed me into one! As Steve Jobs said, one can only connect the dots in life through hindsight; I can say that we have much to be thankful and grateful for! Yeah occasionally we slipped back into Mr. Complain but we have to check ourselves each and every time this happens. So feel free to join this train and share gratitude around! If you live life in the present, which is the healthiest way to live, you will find that each moment has something imperative to offer to your life and time, and in discovering this, you will find gratitude an ongoing and easy part of each day...

I am grateful for the moments of my life, they are each embraced, each become a part of the whole of my existence, and each brings forth something, even if that something is not noticed until later, or does not seem to be important at the time, each moment is another weave in the tapestry of my life...

I try to live in gratitude always. Very rarely do I not. There is just too much to be grateful for, even when things are bad, and this is when being grateful serves a purpose with abundant measure. When things are bad, or seem less than gratifying, if we can sit and reflect on the wonderful parts of our lives, if we can list 5 things for which to be grateful for, the bad more or less dissolves, right before our eyes. It is like the mentality is only there as long as you allow it to be; negative elements disappear when we do not feed into them, for the positive is the element in which we are most comfortable. We use the negative as a crutch, as an excuse, and sometimes, we use it to hold ourselves back from lack of belief in ourselves or abilities. The negative is useless without us feeding it, and when we choose to be grateful over the negative, it is gone, even if something else less than perfect should suddenly appear...

Gratitude is an attribute which all people should learn and implement, each and every moment of their lives. Look around you, you will see, you have so very much to be grateful for, plus, the more grateful you are, the more wonders become obvious to you, which means even more positive in your life! Yes, every single moment of life is worthy of itself, it is all conceptual, therefore, the moments which you deem unworthy are self inclined...

The nights are long and lonely,

a box pops up, the excitement hard to bear,

Its only windows live again; they call me all the time,

So little company, no one seem to understand,
the pressures there can be.
My wife thinks I’m a nuttier,

I have practically listed in summary, things I am grateful HERE, but I will list the little and current things I am grateful for the past weeks here:
1. I am grateful for great health for me, hubby and our son.
2. I am grateful for being able to finish my school papers on time.
3. I am grateful for my new Russian friend, she is as kikay as me.
4. I am grateful for being able to help a single mother classmate with her paper.
5. I am grateful for the outpouring of blogging assignments despite google dropping my PR to nadah!
6. I am grateful for the gazillion of tags I have been constantly getting.
7. I am grateful for being able to sleep on time the past weeks.
8. I am grateful for a mail I received last week.
9. I am grateful for every food I eat, every toiletries I use, every clothes I wear and every technology gadget I use.

#70 - Happy, Happy, Happy!!!

Why am I happy? Let me count the ways and be thankful for each and every one of them.

1. Today I received my passport back. I sent it last Monday to the Indonesian Embassy in Helsinki to report myself. Why do I need to report myself? Well, one other reason other than the obvious is that once I've reported myself, my new address is now written at the back of my passport, so when I fly back to Finland, I don't have to pay 1 million rupiah tax at the airport HUE HE HE HE HE HE HE...Plus I'm RELIEVED that the passport has arrived safely HE HE HE HE HE...

2. Because of reason number 1, I can use the money to go to a SPA in Bandung in October HUA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA...I'm gonna pamper myself in Bandung. *WIDE GRIN*

3. My new book's arrived (Jostein Gaarder's Maya). Hubby asked me if I wanted to buy a book since he wanted to order something online, so I picked one. I still have many other unread novels, but I just love stacking them up to read in the future ho ho ho ho ho ho...

4. My Brit friend and husband and teacher have told me that I may be able to teach Finnish to foreigners later in the future. It's something I'm considering seriously, since I think I'd love to do something like that. ;-D I know it'll take me years to be able to be as good in Finnish (compared to my English knowledge), but I'm in no hurry. ;-D

I'm THANKFUL for their encouragement and support.

5. Tonight we were supposed to go to the bars with hubby's brother and girlfriend, but they cancelled it. I don't mind that since it means I have plenty of spare time to relax (read comics or do whatever I want to do today) ho ho ho...

6. Seeing hubby's SATISFIED GRIN as I tucked him to sleep on the sofa just now.

7. Hubby bought pepper steak for us HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO...I LOVE pepper steak! ;-D

8. A little while ago while hubby was doing something in front of his computer, I went over to smother him with kisses and I noticed that between the pages of his notebook, there was my Post-It Note from the day when he was sick and he had to stay home while I went to my Finnish course. I left him the note before I went to the course. I LOVE the fact that he keeps it safe, even though it's just a Post-It note. ;-D

9. Today's been wet again. It rained water for a while. I don't mind that since it means that the ice isn't slippery. That means that I'm SAFE from falling HO HO HO HO HO...

10. Cleaning up hubby's ears with a special tool from Indo. I LOVE cleaning up his ears ha ha ha ha ha...Sounds gross, eh? ;-D

11. My class is going to visit the Gold Mine next Friday. I've never been there before, even though I've lived in Finland for a little over a year. And it's FOR FREE since the company who organizes the course is paying for that. YIIIIPPIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!! I'm gonna bring my digicam to take pics. ;-D

12. The other day when I walked home, I noticed something very cute: as the snow was melting and water was running fast to the drain all over the village, three birds were cleaning themselves up in the running water nearby my apartment building. What a sight!!! I even stopped to watch them. Mmmm...

13. Spring is comiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg!!! And lately here in Sodankylä, the day is longer than the night (17 hours versus 7 hours). YEEEESSSSS!!!

14. This conversation:

Me: Am I demanding?
Hubby: Sometimes. (smile)
Me: What? When?
Hubby: No comment.
Me: Okaaayyyy...does it bother you, then?
Hubby: No.
Me: GOOD! (BIG grin)

Other than those, here are other things I'm thankful for:

1. My family, husband, husband's family, and friends. They're always so supportive, understanding, and kind to me.

2. My blogger friends. Without them, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. ;-D

3. Peace of mind.

4. Being able to sleep well at nights.

5. My health.

6. Enlightenment.

7. Wonderful food, tasty snack, and refreshing water.

8. People's thoughtfulness (strangers or non-strangers alike).

9. Open doors and closed doors.

My blogging buddy of Life is Mysterious........pass me this tag recently. Looking at the word "Gratitude" it gives me a feeling of love, warmeth, gratefulness, and thankfulness for someone or those people around me...like my friends and family who had done a great deal to bring happiness and joy into my life.

Looking back in life, I had received so much from so many people I knew and I am indeed very grateful for what they had done....and it is quite difficult to mention just a few names or people here.....it would not do justice to those whose names were not noted here. When I was suffering in pain during my RA days.....many people had come forward to help me.....making arrangements for me to see this doctor and that doctor......finding the right ways and methods to ease my miserable pain.....including arranging for me to go overseas for treatment.....accompanying me along the way and journey....to anywhere I wanted to go.......visiting me often with their prayers and comforting words.....giving me hope and light at the end of the tunnel with their care and love. What more can i say for such deeds shower on me ...which i can only repay with a word of gratitude. So to those family members and friends who had given me so much......i will always remember your wonderful deeds with a thankful heart and may God bless all of you in return.

There are so many things to be grateful for, to be happy about...despite of...

Trully grateful of the Creator, that I am still standing and here to face the next "challenge". Grateful of my husband, my true friend, my life partner for accepting my strengths as well as my weaknesses as a person. Grateful of my children, always reminding me to be like a kid, taking pleasure on simple things, they are trully our inspiration.

Thankful of my parents, when other relatives are putting us down, my parents are there, happy for our accomplishments. Thankful of my brother, he is a friend that you can count on. Thankful of friends, seldom can you encounter friends that are "happy" for your success & happiness.

Grateful of this tag and to those participating, for spreading the positive mental attitude.

Thankful that I have come to accept the trials, disappointments, failures and learned to complain less. Grateful of the "Obstacles" and struggles for it helped me be strong & creative in working things out. No regrets.

Here are 5 reasons to be grateful for! There are more if I’ll hot down each one and the space wouldn’t be enough but I’ll just sum it up!

1. I am grateful for the Lord above for the continued blessings. And for all the things he showered us! Me, my boys, my family and friends!
2. I am grateful for my dear husband. I cannot imagine Life without him!
3. I am grateful for my 2 sons! Makes life more meaningful and it made me become full!
